I had the privilege of working with Pam and Tammy at Saks Incorporated (Saks Fifth Avenue) for several years as they built a global Employee Relations Service Center from the ground up.  They hired a great team, built the processes, pivoted and tweaked as needed, and developed the right metrics to support the business.  They focused on balancing the needs of the business, advocating for associates and leaders, and they were great thought partners across the enterprise.  In the early days of building, they had to listen, collaborate and build relationships across multiple HR teams and leaders.  They were service oriented and led with compassion and humility.
